Hail hit your
neighborhood?
Here's exactly what to do in the first 48 hours — and how we work with your insurance company to get your roof replaced the right way.
Hail is not a rare event. Your claim window is not unlimited.
Central Oklahoma sits at the intersection of the worst hail belts in the country. Most homeowners' insurance policies give you twelve months from the date of the storm to file a wind or hail claim. After that, your carrier can deny it outright — even if the damage is obvious.
If a storm moved through your neighborhood, the best thing you can do is call us for a free inspection. If there's nothing to claim, we'll tell you. If there is, we'll document it properly before the next weather event makes it harder to prove.
If your roof just took a hit — do this.
Stay off the roof
Wet, damaged roofs are dangerous. We inspect for free — let us climb it.
Photograph what you can see
Dented gutters, downed limbs, shingle debris on the ground, water spots on ceilings. Phone camera is fine.
Don't file yet — call us first
We'll inspect, tell you if there's enough damage to file a claim, and walk you through the process before you get on the phone with your carrier.
Four steps from storm to finished roof.
Free inspection
We climb the roof, check the attic, and photograph anything an adjuster needs to see. You get a written report the same day.
Document damage
We prepare the loss documentation in the format carriers expect — dated photos, hail size, wind direction, affected slopes.
Meet your adjuster
When your carrier sends someone out, we're on the roof with them. We walk through every damaged area so nothing gets missed in the scope.
Quality replacement
Once the claim is approved, we schedule the re-roof. Tear-off, deck repair, new underlayment, shingles, and flashing — usually one to two days on the house.
Our job vs. your job.
You stay in control of the claim. We handle the roof work and the contractor side of the process.

Storm claim FAQ.
Does filing a claim raise my insurance rates?
In Oklahoma, weather-related claims (hail, wind, tornado) are generally considered "acts of God" and are treated differently than at-fault claims. Most carriers don't raise individual rates after a single weather claim, though area-wide rates can shift after major storm seasons. We can't promise anything on the insurance side — call your agent — but we can tell you that not filing a legitimate claim means you're paying premiums for coverage you're declining to use.
What does "free inspection" actually mean?
It means free. No trip charge, no "processing fee," no pressure to sign anything. We climb the roof, check the attic, take photos, and either tell you there's damage worth filing a claim on or we tell you your roof is fine. We don't work on commission and we don't need to sell you a roof to stay in business.
How long does a full re-roof take?
For most Oklahoma homes, the roof itself is one to two days of work — tear-off and decking in the morning, underlayment and shingles through the afternoon, clean-up the second day. The claim process before we start can take one to four weeks depending on how quickly your adjuster gets out.
What if my insurance claim gets denied?
If the damage is legitimate, denials are often the result of missed documentation or a scope disagreement. We'll help you understand exactly why the claim was denied and, if appropriate, file a supplement or help you request a re-inspection. If the roof genuinely isn't damaged enough to claim, we'll tell you that too — sometimes the honest answer is "don't file."
Do you require a deposit before starting work?
For insurance claim jobs, we don't collect money until the claim is approved and material is ordered. For straight cash bids (non-claim work), we ask for a reasonable deposit at material order and the balance on completion. We don't take large upfront deposits — be cautious of any contractor that does.
What warranty do you offer?
Shingle manufacturers (GAF, Owens Corning, CertainTeed) warranty their materials for 25–50 years depending on the product. We also provide a workmanship warranty on the installation itself — if our work causes a leak, we come back and fix it at no charge. Details are on every contract we write.
